Serpentine is said to owe its
name either to its serpent-like colors and patterns and an old belief that the
stones were effective protection from snake bites. This serpentine pendant is
made with a very dark almost black piece of gemstone with a lightening bolt
pattern of lighter green across it. Wire wrapped by hand with sterling silver
wire. This one of a kind pendant can be worn with a chain, cord, slide
or on a necklace of small beads.
Pendant measures 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" .
