Ammolite Gemstone Cabochon. Ammolite is mostly found in British Colombia, Canada.  This gemstone is basically the outer skin of an ammonite fossil which has become opalized with beautiful color and fire in red, green, orange and gold. This cab has mostly green and some orange fire. Much of the ammolite on the market has been highly processed.  This freeform cabochon is in a more natural state and still retains its rough texture called dragon skin.

Measures 55 mm x 28mm with a depth of 6 mm. 
Approximately 2-3/16" x 1" with a 1/4" depth.
