Australian Opalite Cabochon

This is a rare natural Australian Opalite with dendritic inclusions. Natural opalite is a type of opal without any fire called potch. This particular cabochon comes from a source which is no longer mined and reputed to be the only source of opalite with this appearance.

Measures 49 mm x 30 mm x 5 mm
Approximately 2' x 1-1/8" x slightly under 1/4".
