How to Make a Stretchy Cord BraceletThis guide is available from Leeleeko Jewelry at www.leeleeko.com Print
2)
Select beads for bracelet. Find a bead with a large hole to use on
the end of bracelet. The knot that is made to finish the bracelet will
be pulled into this bead. 4) Use a piece of thick stretchy cord 4” longer than the finished length of bracelet. If using thin cord use multiple strands.
6) After stringing beads, check the length by wrapping around your wrist.
Tie both ends together using a square knot (shown on the right). The knot should be tight, but do not tighten the cord as the bracelet will need to be able to stretch. Tie one simple overhand knot after the square knot. This knot is similar to temporary knot shown on the left. 7) Clip the end to ¼”. Slide knot inside bead with large hole to hide the knot. 8) Your bracelet is now ready to wear. |
