Gemstone Cabochons                                      Gemstone Pendants

A cabochon is a shaped and polished gemstone used in jewelry. Cabochons have one smooth curved or domed surface. A faceted gemstone has a number of flat surfaces instead of one smooth surface. These terms can also apply to other materials such as crystal or glass. Although this section is called cabochons a few stones are actually faceted.
